Casa Los Yayos is a building that has been transformed from an old dovecote. The flats have been refurbished to offer functional, modern and contemporary accommodation with elements inspired by the Mediterranean; decorated with the blues of the sea and the colours of the land of Altea.

The word ‘Yayo’ means ‘grandfather’ in Valencian and each flat has been named after the owner's grandparents.

Altea and, more especially, its Old Town is one of the jewels of the Costa Blanca (called ‘The White Pearl’). Its viewpoints and streets trace a labyrinth of immaculate white and blue houses, full of colourful plants and flowers, cobbled streets and beautiful staircases that give the place a beautiful Mediterranean air. Its beauty and authenticity have attracted thousands of travellers over the years, and in the past it was one of the most popular locations for artists and bohemian painters who came to this village in search of inspiration to create their works.
